PMOS

With Professor Roger Hart

PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome)

Professor Roger Hart, gynaecologist, endocrinologist and fertility specialist, is internationally recognised for his expertise in PMOS and was part of the International PCOS Guideline development group. In this video, he explains PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome), the new name for polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and why this condition affects far more than the ovaries. He covers its impact on menstrual health, fertility, metabolic health and emotional wellbeing, and the challenges women with PMOS may face through perimenopause and menopause. Early recognition and personalised care make a real difference, so if you have symptoms or questions about your diagnosis, speak with your GP or gynaecologist.
